Straight extended pliers 160mm VDE Yato YT-21154

Long straightpliers160 mm long. Their metal construction is made of high quality CrV steel. Specially designedanti-slip handle, VDE certified, provides protection when working withvoltages up to 1000 V AC. The product has a rounded, tapered clamping profile with grooves on which there are grooves ensuring a firm grip on the repaired element. The pliers arepart of the VDE series, designed for electrical and electromechanical specialists.

• Compression resistance- tested by heating the tool up to 70°C,applying a 5000 V voltage and applying a 20 N pressure point.

• Resistance tovoltage- tools are approved for 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC.
• VDE coating is firmly embedded on the tool -the VDE insulating coating remains on the handle even when the tool is pulled down with 500 N.
• Low-temperature strength- the insulation coating is resistant to cracking at -40°C in accordance with EN/IEC60900.
• Fire resistant properties- tools do not ignite even if they stay for 10 seconds in a 12 cm flame.
• VDE insulationalso prevents accidental scratching of sensitive surfaces during operation. It protects against damage to materials such as aluminium, copper or brass.
